What is a log book service?
What is a log book service? Each car manufacturer has a list of requirements to look after your vehicle at various intervals, either by kilometres driven or by a time period. It is up to each customer to decide where to have the vehicle serviced.
Buderim Auto Service can service your vehicle without voiding the manufacturer’s warranty at competitive rates.
VEHICLE SERVICES
How often should you get your vehicle serviced?
How often should you get your vehicle serviced? Most manufacturers recommend every 6 months or every 10,000 kms. Our 40 point inspection is designed to keep you and your family safe and maintain your vehicle to optimum performance.
To mention just a few items in our check, we inspect your brakes, suspension, tyres, lights, windscreen wipers and we service all makes and models. Most jobs are set times taken from the MTAQ Times Book and we only use PENRITE oil, a 100% Australian owned company.
Remember, having your vehicle serviced on a regular basis will ensure it meets manufacturer’s service standards, and prevent those unwanted surprises at inopportune times.
SUSPENSION
Why is wheel alignments and wheel balancing necessary?
Your vehicle has shock absorbers to give you a smooth ride and a complex amount of steering joints and bushes which require servicing and replacing when needed.

BRAKES:
Living on top of Buderim Mountain and travelling around the Coast, your brakes are very important to keep you and your passengers safe. Your vehicle’s braking system is made up of many components. Disc rotors and disc pads on the front and the rear, and some vehicles have drum brakes and shoes on the rear. Your vehicle also has a hydraulic system which includes a master cylinder and wheel cylinders and the fluid needs to be changed at regular intervals, especially with the latest ABS systems. Call in and see Luke or Lance to have your brakes checked.
BATTERIES:
We are proud supplies of AC Delco batteries and offer free fitting and fast service to the Buderim area. We can also supply batteries for IStop vehicles.
AUTHORISED INSPECTION STATION
Whether you have moved from interstate to this beautiful area, or you are deciding to sell or buy a vehicle, book in for a Roadworthy Inspection (Safety Certificate). The Certificates are now electronically produced for your convenience.
